It wasn't a puncture; this was a car whose tire pressure hadn't been managed properly from the start. When I called the company, they only asked whether I wanted to pay for roadside assistance, and they insisted that low pressure meant there was a hole. It's also my responsibility that I didn't check before setting out, but I never expected it to be this bad.
There was no windshield washer fluid at all, either. On a mountain road, dust made it impossible to see ahead, so I tried to spray the windshield, but nothing came out, which was dangerous. I ended up filling it myself at my own expense.
